How to tune a PA system, Ringing Out Feedback for live sound systems and stage monitors in clubs, churches, etc

Here is a collection of short live sound instructional videos by me, Buck Moore. Buck has been setting up and operating sound systems in various North American cities for over 15 years. I, Buck, have also been the live sound instructor at Toronto's Trebas Institute since 2001. These techniques come from thousands of live shows in good rooms, bad rooms, with good gear, bad gear, with good talent and bad talent.

In summary, these are the most reliable techniques I have been using so far. Since they work every time, I stick with them. I hope you try them out to see for yourselves, and even develop your own techniques; I'd love to hear about them. If we can improve the average live show by even 50%, all techniques combined will have paid off!

All I am doing here is trying my darnedest to improve live sound everywhere. Cheers!

Great series of videos. Do people tell you they find them useful? Our business (Telestream AV) has been thinking of doing something similar to demonstrate the basics of video production, so I've been having a look for people doing something similar so we can try to gauge if there's interest. Would love to know if you've found them a useful marketing tool.
